Nearly There: Club Update

The clubhouse is nearly fit for purpose. The passageway has been given two coats of white emulsion. A lick of enamel on the woodwork and a bit of plumbing and we can get on with the business of preparing boats for the season.

But there are still a few chores left.

1. The cistern in the loo needs replacing. The old one leaks. There is a new one waiting fitment. Chris?
2. The woodwork throughout could do with a coat of white enamel. Jill? Mike?
3. The floor needs re painting where the leak in the loo has lifted it. This needs to wait for a dry day. Adrian?
4. A bracket needs building for the microwave. Paul?
5. A system to secure the bar partition/white board needs making. Paul?

Now that the club is basically refurbished, I personally feel it needs a little feng shui, some pictures, a bit of colour, a rug, flowers, curtains even to make it more cosy.

And without ruffling any feathers, I reckon it's a job best left to the women who are so much better at that sort of thing (and pretty much everything else for that matter).

NB the stopcock for the water is in the changing room, top left behind a polystyrene brick.
