Cheque or standing order: make my day (please)... |
So, on her behalf and for my sake also, please update your standing order; ideally, or if you still prefer it, send Paul a cheque payable to LBSC for this year's fun on the water.
And now, here is a message from your membership secretary herself.
Membership fees 2013
With the sailing season underway overdue fees are now well overdue. To err
is human, however, at this late stage, in the all but one word words of Bob
Geldof: Give us your — money!
Members yet to pay, or who need to top up their sub for 2013, should all
have received a e-nudge to write a cheque (payable to Loch Broom Sailing Club)
and send it to Paul Driver – anyone who has not had said nudge can expect it to
see it in their in box very soon.
Payment by standing order is ideal – it keeps Club finances straight; it
also saves Paul and I spending hour upon boring hour chasing overdue payments –
time we could otherwise spend sailing, for example.
Membership fees for each
season should
be paid on any date that suits between 1st January and no later than 1st March
.
Fees were increased at the 2012 AGM and include use of
all LBSC craft: Flying Fifteens, Picos and Loki.
If
your standing order is for the pre-2012 amount, please update it in time for the
2014 season.

To those members who paid on time, many, many thanks. To 'the rest', please
cough up – and the sooner the better.
